Method of Usage
- Remove loose particles, dirt, grease, and any adhering materials from the wall surface using sandpaper, a putty blade, or a wire brush.
- Moisten the surface before application to enhance workability and ensure better coverage.
- Always mix Sarwin Gypsum Plaster into water, not water into the plaster.
- Maintain a water-to-plaster ratio of 1 part water to 1.5 parts plaster to achieve a cohesive, workable mix.
- Mix the plaster and water by hand until a smooth, lump-free paste forms.
- Install wooden or steel strips (or leveling strips) in the area where the plaster will be applied.
- Apply a single coat of plaster approximately 8–10 mm thick. Before the first coat sets, rake and cross-rake the surface.
- Fill any hollow areas, level the surface, and compact it before applying the final finish coat.
- Allow the plaster to dry completely, which typically takes 72 hours, depending on thickness and humidity. Once dried, the smooth and leveled surface is ready for painting.
- Once the mix begins to set, do not add additional dry material, as it will alter the performance properties of the plaster, including workability, cohesiveness, adhesion, and strength.
- Each coat should have a thickness of no more than 8 mm to 10 mm.
- If a thickness greater than 10 mm is required, the plaster must be applied in multiple coats.
- Use the material immediately after mixing.
- Sarwin gypsum plaster should not be applied to surfaces exposed to continuous seepage or dampness.
- autionAvoid using hooks.
- Store in a cool, dry place.
- If the product comes into contact with eyes or an open wound, rinse immediately and thoroughly with fresh water.
Transform regular Gypsum into Upgrade HD Grade.
For 10 kg of regular gypsum, add 7-7.5 liters of clean water and sprinkle in 100 g of Sarwin polymer. Mix it well and let it set for 3 minutes. Then, add 10 kg of gypsum powder and mix thoroughly until a smooth, creamy slurry is formed. For stronger and harder products, reduce the water used for mixing. Ensure that containers and tools are clean and free from any previously set material.
